Zachary "Zach" Brown, of Mason, passed away on Saturday, March 22, at the age of 33. Survivors include his wife Kim Brown of Mason, his father Tim Brown of Mason, his mother Carol Jones of Brady, daughters Hannah Jo Brown and Alexis Shai Brown of Mason, step-children Austin Miller of Llano, and Kadynce, Kyleigh and Rylee Bradley all of Mason a half-sister Shannon Renee Johnson of Brady several aunts and uncles including Jim Brown, Beverly Cosgrove and husband Jim and Judy Brown, a great-uncle Matthew Brandenberger, a nephew Derek Brandenberger and many cousins including Brandon Brown. Zach was preceded in death by his uncle Thomas N. Brown and his grandparents Thomas "Pop" Brown and Josephine "MaMa Jo" Brown and Jesse and Georgia Parker.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 11:00 a.m. in the Mason Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Gooch Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. to 11a.m. prior to the service.

Zach was born in Brady on February 2, 1981 to Tim Brown and Carol Parker Brown. He was raised in Mason and worked in construction. Zach loved music and installing sound systems. He was very handy and could fix just about anything. In his spare time he loved to go to the river, relax, barbeque and have a beer with friends. He also enjoyed playing tennis and was a great cook. He would help his daughter Hannah with her homework and always wanted his kids to know that their "Buddy" loved them very much! Zach was big hearted.

In addition to his family Zach is survived by his dogs "Tuff" and "Honey Bear".
