William Leonard Frazier, of Mason, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, at the age of 91. Mr. Frazier survivors include two sons Thomas and Jerry Frazier. At Mr. Frazier's request, his body will be cremated and there will not be any services. Private interment of his cremated remains will take place at a later date.
Leonard was born on January 26, 1919 in Clovis New Mexico to James Henry Frazier and Mary Alice Bruner Frazier. He grew up in Clovis, Oklahoma, and Seymour, Texas. After High School Leonard moved to Houston where he worked until joining the Army Air Corps in 1940. While in Houston he met Arlinna May Ray and they were married on January 10, 1942. During the war, Leonard was sent overseas to the far east with duty stations in Pakistan, India and China.
After the war, Leonard returned to Houston and then through the years Leonard and Arlinna lived in several places including Brady, Brownwood, San Angelo and then finally moving to Mason in 1981. Leonard worked for several companies mainly in the areas of writing, photography and public relations.
Leonard was preceded in death by Arlinna in 1990.
Memorials in Leonard's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
