Wesley Cracker
Crouch
Apr 1, 1987 — Jun 5, 2022
Wesley Cracker Crouch, a life-long resident of Mason Texas, went to be with his Lord on June 5, 2022 at the age of 35.
Cracker is survived by his son Caden Brant Crouch of Benbrook, Texas, his parents Doug Crouch and Angela Crouch, his parents Chris and Christy Ake all of Mason, brother Chase Crouch and sister-in-law Cara Crouch of Mason, sister Tabatha Cunningham and brother-in-law Wesley Cunningham of Millersview, Texas, sister Courtney Anderson and brother-in-law Clay Anderson of Brownwood, grandmother Gayle Keith of Brownwood, grandparents Robert & Carla Ake of Mason, nieces Cora Biddy, Collins and Emily Anderson, Kaleigh Cunningham, nephews Coda Crouch and Dale Cunningham, great niece Riley Stoffer, and great nephew Finley McDonald, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Cracker was born in Brady, Texas on April 1, 1987 to Doug Crouch and Christy Ake. He graduated from Mason High School in 2005 and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University in 2008. He worked in home construction for many years before being employed with the Texas Department of Transportation for the past seven years. He became a father on December 15, 2011, which of course was the most important part of his life. His son, Caden, is his pride and joy. The two shared the love and competitiveness of football and baseball whether playing the games or watching the games.
Cracker enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, and grilling. He loved to play forty-two and pitch washers. He loved to dance and spent hours hitting the backroads and listening to his favorite tunes with his friends. His passion was building things with his hands and made several wooden tables with his son. His love and dedication for this family and his friends was undeniably his trademark. Kids adored his silliness and attention. His smile and laugh were contagious. He never met a stranger. To know him was to love him. He would rather give you hug than a handshake or you may have gotten both. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Visitation with family is scheduled for Friday June 17 th 5-7pm at the Mason Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday June 18 th at 1:00 pm at the River of Life Church Gymnasium in Mason, Texas. Pastor Dave Benefield will officiate.
