Wanda Jeanette Marshall Williams passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026. She was born June 20,1935 to Hardy Marshall and Marie Latimer Marshall.
After graduating from Lohn High School, she moved to Corpus Christi, TX where she met the love of her life, Donald Williams Sr. They married 6 weeks later and were blessed with 63 years together before his passing in 2017.
Wanda was happiest when all her family was gathered together, preferably with a baby on her lap, someone brushing her hair, while she listened to her brother, Wylie, play the guitar and sing.
Wanda was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints where she spent many years leading the young women and working in the nursery. She was an active member of the Lions Club and faithful volunteer at the VFW Bingo Night.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Donald Williams Sr, Parents, Hardy and Marie Marshal, brothers, Jesse “Charles” and Jim Marshall, and sister, Ann Marshall Guenther.
She is survived by her sons, Donald “Wimpy” Williams Jr, Steven Williams and honorary daughters Charlotte Danforth Salisbury and Pat Thompson Johnson, grandchildren Donald “Bubba” (Sharon) Williams III, Amanda (Kenneth) Lewis, Nathaniel (Sonja) Williams, Courtney Williams, Ariel Williams, Ashly Williams, Alicia (Tyrese) Allen, and Perry Williams, 20 great grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren, Brother Wylie Marshall, and many nephews, nieces and cousins that she loved oodles and gobs.
She was feisty, had the biggest heart, sweetest smile and will be missed by all that knew her.
Viewing will be held at Mason Funeral Home in Mason, TX on Sunday, August 23rd from 2-6pm. Graveside Service will be held at the Pear Valley cemetery on Monday, August 24th at 10am, with a reception to follow at the Lohn Community Center.
Pallbearers will be Devin Howlett, Blake Howlett, Nathan Williams, Eddie Garcia, Bubba Williams, and Bret Williams.
