Obituary

Tessa Louise Farmer, 76, of Mason, TX passed away on January 12, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones.

Tessa was born on September 24 th , 1946 to Harlan and Weasie Lange in Brady, Texas. After Tessa graduated from Mason High School in 1965, she married Glen (Squeaky) Farmer on September 25 th , 1965. Tessa and Squeaky have two sons Cody and Cole.

She was employed by Country Collectibles since opening in 1978 and enjoyed being involved in the community through her work with the Chamber of Commerce and the Mason County Round-Up Parade. She was loved for her famous and delicious pinto beans, and her puncher cow bell. Anyone who knew Tessa, knew she was a garage sale junkie that collected various head vases, metal art, was crazy about roosters and chili petines, but her greatest love was for her husband, children, and to be the "Nan" to her grandchildren.

If you stopped by after Tessa got off her daily call with Sherry Willmann, the first words out of her mouth would be "Well, I started to call you…" and would continue on with "Sherry said…" and that's when you knew you would be staying for supper.

She is survived by her husband Squeaky Farmer, brother Terry Lange, children Cody Farmer (Chris), Cole Farmer (Dawn), niece Cayla Rogers (David), nephew Cade Lange (Samantha), grandchildren Jessie Weeks (Zachary), Brant Farmer, Selah Farmer, Riggin Farmer, great nieces and nephews Taylor Cogdell (Rowdy), Bodey Lange, Joshua Dye, Cohen Dye, and Chloe Dye. She was predeceased by her parents, Harlan and Weasie Lange, and niece-in-law Samantha Lange.

We will all miss her rounding up the family and friends with her "YOO-HOO" which was traditionally hollered out the back door.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Sunday, January 15, at 3:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Gooch Cemetery.
