Graveside services will be held for Stephen Ray Danford, age 42, at the Gooch Cemetery on Saturday, February 13, at 2:00 p.m. Stephen died in Junction, TX on February 7th.

Stephen Danford was born in Borger, TX on January 21, 1968 and came to Junction two years ago. Surviving are his two sons Nicholas of Orange City, Iowa and Tyler of San Angelo, his parents Kenneth and Carolyn Danford of Mason and older brother Ken Danford and wife Lindy ofBryan and a sister Shawna Howard and husband Waylon of McLean, Texas.

Stephen was a heating and airconditioning technician until a debilitating injury some years ago. Since then he spent his days fishing, the sport he dearly loved. He loved to fish with his dad and brother. He said the best time in his entire life was fishing last year with his uncle Tommy on the Sommerville Lake. He caught more fish on that one trip than in his entire life. Stephen was dearly loved by all of his family and friends and will be truly missed.
