Sonny Joe Torres, 45, passed away on March 14, 2026.

He was born on April 30, 1980, in Fredericksburg, Texas. Sonny was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who brought laughter, strength, and love to everyone around him. He shared a strong belief in Christ and lived his life always showing love and kindness to others around him.

More than anything, Sonny loved his girls. They were his greatest pride and joy and the center of his world. Sonny was a devoted OU Sooners fan. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman who loved being outdoors. Whether he was barbecuing, spending time with family, or simply enjoying life, Sonny made every moment count.

Survivors: Sonny is survived by his five daughters:
Jaycee Lynn Torres, Jadyn Mae Torres,
Gabriela Rose Torres, Courtney Shanelle Torres,
and Angel Rene Cues; his loving mother Delores Miranda; his father Ricky Torres Sr.; his sisters Catalina Gonzalez and Virginia Chacon; his brothers Ricky Torres Jr. and Oscar Torres; his sister-in-law April Torres and grandson Banks; brother-in-law Hector Mata Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
