Sandra was born on January 19, 1941, to Roy and Bernice Schmidt i n Brady,

Texas. She was raised on the family ranch in the beautiful hill country. She had the

deepest love and respect for Mason County and her family heritage. She graduated

from Mason High School in 1959 and attended Texas Lutheran College. She married

Patrick H. O'Donnell, Jr. on August 24, 1973 in Mason, Texas. Sandra will always be

remembered for her kindness, wisdom and giving spirit. Everything she did she always

had others in mind.

Sandra, affectionately known as "Mema" and "Aunt Sandy", shared a special

genuine love for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great

nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered as a good cook (especially the

wonderful caramel candy), an avid bridge player, bowler, and for her deep love of

travel. Sandra enjoyed spending her free time scrapbooking for her high school

classmates of 1959, talking to loved ones on the phone, and watching The Bachelor.

Some of our greatest memories we will always treasure were our trips to the Water

Valley ranch, fishing, playing cards and games and sitting on the back porch swing

together.

Patrick H. O'Donnell, Jr. as well as numerous beloved cousins and friends.
