Sabrina was born on October 2, 1958, in Mason, Texas to Larry and Bertie Dannheim also from Mason. She was the eldest of three children. She then earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Houston Baptist University and later an MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She began her accounting career at Trinity University in San Antonio. In 1989, she began working for Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf Children. Sabrina became the Director of Finance at Sunshine Cottage. The staff and children at Sunshine Cottage were a very important part of Sabrina's life and she loved her time there dearly. Sabrina was also a member of Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf. She served as co-president for the Self Help for the Hard of Hearing, now known as the Hearing Loss Association of America. Additionally, Sabrina was an adjunct faculty member at San Antonio College. She prepared and presented at various workshops and retreats and has spoken publicly and served on numerous panels regarding hearing loss. In her "spare time" Sabrina enjoyed traveling, visiting with friends, antiquing, and spending time with family.

Sabrina is survived by her brothers Greg Dannheim and his wife Nanette and Mike Dannheim both of San Antonio. She is also survived by her nephews Alexander Dannheim and Jason Dannheim and his wife Jaqueline all of San Antonio and many cousins and friends.
