Rubin Lang,
Jr.
Aug 9, 1941 — Aug 12, 2022
Rubin "Juny" Lang, Jr.
Rubin Lang, Jr., a devoted great grandfather, grandfather, father, and husband dedicated his life to his family left this earth to join our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his late wife Eva Lang on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the age of 81. Rubin was born August 9, 1941, to Lena and Rubin Lang in Fredericksburg TX and a resident of Mason TX. He was married to Eva, the love of his life, with whom he raised a family and he had a 28-year career with Texas Department of Transportation as a Maintenance Technician in Mason.
As a young man, Rubin managed ranch land and livestock in Matfield Green KS and Mason TX during the historical periods of moving cattle back and forth between the ranches. After living 5 winters in Kansas, Rubin and Eva decided to move back to TX and make Mason their home. After land purchases and a desire to build a home, Rubin rendered plans and facilitated a family project of building a home. With that desire and coupled with the local community-based R. Grosse and Son lumber company, he orchestrated the building of their family home.
Rubin was a pillar of strength for his family, his friends, and his community with a "word and handshake" style seal of approval. He loved to hunt everything from deer to occasional all-night coon hunt. He loved the "only could be experienced" Llano River catfish trips yielding stories that could obviously be experienced. Juny always enjoyed the challenge of catching that big bobcat by trapping all over various areas.
Additionally, Rubin and Eva helped for many years with Mason Meals on Wheels and the American Cancer Society Walk, both having been cancer survivors themselves; the ACS was near and dear to their hearts. Rubin will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rubin is survived by his daughter Sandra Beam and her husband Robert Beam of Junction, TX; grandson Travis Beam of Palestine TX, great-grandson Ethan Beam; granddaughter Eva Maria Beam and her friend Lee Isaacks of Gatesville TX, great-granddaughter Savannah Beam, daughter and son's Ellie, Eric, Ethan, Everitt. Rubin's son Karl Lang and wife Dawn Lang of Fredericksburg TX; grandson Karl Lang Jr of Fletcher OK; grandson Joshua Lang and wife Darah Lang, great-grandchildren Oliver and Oaklyn Lang of Snyder OK; granddaughter Jennifer Arnold and husband Ajay Arnold, and great- grandchildren David, Jonathan, and Trinity of Snyder OK.
Visitation will be held Friday August 19, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday August 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Chaplain William Karlson will officiate the funeral.
