By the Grace of God on September 30, 1988 our baby boy arrived. The doctor held him up, counted his toes and fingers and declared "Looks like a keeper to me." We named him Ross Clayton Lehmberg. He was ours for 25 years, 7 months and 4 days.

On Saturday, May 3, 2014 our hopes and dreams for him were shattered. He now belongs to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

If we live, we live to the Lord. If we die, we die to the Lord. So whether we live or we die, we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:8

Ross was our pride and joy. We will always cling to our precious memories of our time together. Some day we will rejoice to meet him again on the other side.

Ross was Baptized on December 11, 1988 by Pastor D. Lee Muehlbrad at St. Paul Lutheran Church. His sponsors were Gary and Vicki Stewart, Paul Smith and Brenda Lange. He was confirmed on March 2, 2002 at St. Paul Lutheran by Pastor Lewis Groce. His Confirmation verse was Romans 5:1. Ross graduated from Mason High School in May of 2007 and from Texas A & M University in December of 2011 with a BBA from the Mays College of Business. In 2009 Ross started working with Matthew True marketing residential security systems for True Protection. He had plans to work in Minnesota this summer.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents Mark and Judy Geistweidt Lehmberg, of Mason, his sisters and their spouses Marcy and Jarrod Young of Houston and Britny and Kelley Fowler of Austin, his paternal grandfather Roy Lehmberg of Mason, nieces and nephews Emersyn Young, Miles Young, Pierce Fowler and one little niece on the way. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: , Debra and Dick Schmidt, Bruce and Juhree Lehmberg, Brenda and Greg Lange, Paula and Sammy Crouch, Gene and Linda Geistweidt, Joe D. and Nettie Geistweidt and Gwen and Roddie Stockbridge along with many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jean Lehmberg and Homer and Myrtle Geistweidt.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mason with Rev. Tim Scheffel officiating. Interment will follow in the Gooch Cemetery. His cousins will serve as pallbearers: Hunter and Jeff Geistweidt, Ronald Stockbridge, Chad and Matt Schmidt, Ben and Will Lehmberg Chase and Cade Smith and David Crouch. Honorary pallbearers are Sherry Schmidt, Gayla DeLay, Jana Hendrick, Raegan Stockbridge, Kay Lynne Jordan, Katy Davis, Salah Eckert and Diane Crouch.

Memorials in honor of Ross may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or the charity of one's choice.
