Robert "Bob" Cordes, of Mason, passed away on Thursday, September 2, at the age of 75. Bob is survived by his wife Judy Cordes of Mason, two sons Stephen Cordes of Madrid, Spain, Bryan Cordes of Tampa, Florida, a daughter Susan Mays Coe and husband Darrell of Austin and two granddaughters Amanda Nolen Coe and Michelle Lee Mays both of Austin. Bob was preceded in death by two step-sons Raymon Scott Mays and Steven Thomas Mays.

Bob was born in Ridgewood , New Jersey , on July 16, 1935 to George Henry Cordes and Ruth Lillian Magnussen Cordes. He was a retired Air Force officer and a veteran of the Vietnam War. A private memorial service in his honor will be held at a later date.
