Rebecca "Becky" Carolyn McCorquodale Albers, 79, of Mason, passed away on Friday, January 8. Becky was the youngest of four children, born in Houston, Texas on June 7, 1941 to Emmett Lee and Emma Thelma Davis McCorquodale.

Becky married Harold Albers August 23, 1964 and their marriage was blessed with two daughters: Angela Meredith and Kerbey Allison. Becky was a loving mother and wife. She was devoted to her family, cows, goats, and cats.

Becky is survived by her husband Harold Albers of Mason, Texas; daughter Kerbey Johansen and her husband Cary of San Angelo, Texas; grandchildren Liam Emmett and Lana Celeste Johansen of San Angelo, Texas; and a brother Pat McCorquodale of Mason, Texas. Becky was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lois Lee Mize, sister Levada Geneva Batterson Dupuis, and daughter Angela Meredith Albers.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 13, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Mason funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Gooch Cemetery.
