Ramona Kelso, of Mason, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, at the age of 84. Ramona is survived by her sister, Betty Kelso, of Mason and many cousins. Funeral services for Ramona Kelso will be held on Thursday, March 28, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mason Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in the Gooch Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.

Ramona was born in Brady, Texas on July 17, 1928 to William Dee Kelso and Ruth Evelyn Herron Kelso. The family moved to Mason when Ramona was 6. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Despite her physical limitations, Ramona always maintained a positive outlook. She often said and truly believed "The Lord has something for me." She was a wonderful Christian person and she loved being around children. Ramona owned and operated Ramona's Arts and Crafts for 41 years and was involved with anything in Mason that had something to do with crafts.
