Peter Edward Kellogg, of Mason, passed away on Saturday, December 19, at the age of 68. Mr. Kellogg is survived by his children Lauren Boynton and wife Amour of Waxahachie, Matthew Kellogg and wife Stephanie of Killeen and Wendy Mitchell of West Liberty, KY, 2 sisters Wendy Hudson of Mason, Karol Conley of Montgomery and a brother Jim Kellogg and wife Linda of Lake Jackson along with three grandchildren Robin Mitchell, Theodore Boynton and Benjamin Boynton. He is also survived by the following nieces and nephews: Treg and Natalie Hudson, Link Hudson, Heather and Joe David Yates, Jennifer, Kara and Cody Conley, Saril and Kenny White, Amy and Kurt Fontenot, Elizabeth and Todd Royer and many wonderful great nieces and Nephews. Peter was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Margery Kellogg.

Peter was born on September 19, 1941 in Houston. He was raised in Bellaire and was a 1959 graduate of Bellaire High School. After high school Peter attended Texas Tech University where he graduated from the School of Architecture. Bill was a very talented and intelligent man. He lived in many places and had a variety of interests. About five years ago he moved to Mason in order to be closer to family. A memorial service for Mr. Kellogg will be held on Saturday, January 2, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mason Gospel Church with brother Denny Jackson officiating.. Private interment was held on Monday, December 21, at the Gooch Cemetery.
