Obituary

Paul Henry Zbasnik, age 93 of Llano, Texas passed away on January 02, 2023. He was born July 15, 1929 to Joseph and Rose (Novak) Zbasnik in Lumber City, Georgia.

January 17, 1953, he married the late Delores G. Hunter and enjoyed 66 years of marriage until her passing in 2019.  They retired in 1983 and moved to Llano, Texas where they resided for 40 years.

He is survived by his sons Philip (Beth), Peter (Pam) and Paul (Carolyn) Zbasnik. Also by his grandchildren Abby (Walter), Peter, Emily (Jeff) and Ben (Kaylee). Survived as well by sister's Christine, Mary, Sylvia, and brother Patrick.

Paul was a proud 9-year US Navy veteran and attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer after 6 years of service.  Following his military service he worked for NASA as an electrical technician for 28 years in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was a skilled electrician, mechanic and carpenter who applied his talents to many projects. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the shooting sports.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the members of Solaris Hospice and the Llano Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for his care.

A memorial celebration will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio a future date.
