Paul Haydon Caldwell, of Salado, passed away on Sunday, November 8, at the age of 67. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Bartlett.

Paul Haydon Caldwell was born November 28th, 1947 in Goose Creek in Harris County, Texas. He grew up in the Bartlett area and served at the Williamson County Sherrif's Department for almost 20 years. Paul was the jail administrator and played a role in the design of the construction of the current jail. He retired as a bailiff in 2009.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Homer & Wilmeth Haydon Setzer Caldwell, wife Rebecca Caldwell, and son, Clint Caldwell.

Survivors include his wife, Debra, her children Jason Young; wife
Amber, and daughters Alexis and Emma. Justin Young and wife Amy. Paul's son Keith Caldwell and wife, Shannon; one daughter, Kelly Caldwell; four grandchildren, Kyler, Kalan, Kinley and Kolbi. One brother, Jimmy Caldwell and wife, Linda, one sister, Mary Frances Hernal, and husband, Raymond Lopez. He also had numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
