Patricia L.
Stroud
May 23, 1949 — Jul 20, 2023
Patricia Louann (Yardley) Stroud was born on May 23, 1949, in Unionville, Missouri. She passed away in Mason on Thursday, July 20, at the age of 74. Her parents were Kermit R. Yardley and Doris E. (Leslie) Yardley. Granvil Yardley, her grandfather, was the only father she ever knew.
Patricia married the love of her life, Richard Stroud, on July 28, 1988. He shared two of the most wonderful, loving daughters with me; Shelby Stroud Watson (John) of Mason and Jana Lyn Stroud (Curtis) of Novinger, MO. Then along came Ashlyn Lei Stroud (Caleb) 11 years later. She captured my heart from her first breath. She was my life. Patricia wrote that she had 3 handsome grandsons who live in Texas: Chance Watson, Kramer Watson and Gage Watson and also my "borrowed" granddaughter Emily Koch (Curtis), great- granddaughter and great-grandson Addison Head and Aiden Koch. I also had three siblings: Donna Nash (deceased), Joseph Yardley and Greg Yardley(deceased) (Pat). My nephews Terry Nash (Sue), Fred Nash (Teresa), Brian (Lynni) Yardley, nieces Tami Witt (Greg), Patti Jo Nash (Deskin), Jessica Bishop (Adrian) and Jennifer Yardley, sister-in-law Mary Clay (Vernon), Jim Stroud (deceased) (Betty) and her in-laws Francis and Margaret McCaughey (both deceased).
She graduated from Milan, Missouri High School in 1967, worked for ConAgra for 30 years and HHES for 10 years.
