Ollie A. (Jack) Sides, of London, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, at the age of 86. Mr. Sides is survived by his wife Vivian Sides of London, 7 children: Robbie Ashley of Conroe, Sharon Womack of Spring, Bobby Dean of London, Debby Potter and husband Jeff of Conroe, Deena Oliver and husband Jerry of Lufkin, Jennifer Sides of Junction and Gary Sides of Houston, a brother Harold Sides of Bryan, a sister Gladene Roch of Houston, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.

Ollie was born September 5, 1934 in Thorndale to Cecil Charlie Sides and Gladys Tyler Sides. He made his home in London where he has lived for almost 50 years. Ollie worked as a truck driver for Cedar Fiber in Junction for many years. On June 21, 1984 he married Vivian Fletcher.

Ollie was a wonderful neighbor, always willing to help and frequently mowing the neighbors' yards. He was a great handyman and enjoyed tinkering with machinery. In his younger years Ollie enjoyed fishing and boating.

Funeral services for Ollie Sides will be held graveside at the London Cemetery on Saturday, October 31, at 10:00 a.m.
