Odessa Mary Dannheim's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Odessa Dannheim of Mason, TX passed away May 25, 2017 at the age of 99. She was born in Pontotoc, TX to Bert and Kathryn Durst Holloway on December 16, 1917. She married Gilbert Willard Dannheim on April 8, 1946 in Lampasas, TX. She is survived by her daughter Shauna Crain and husband Randle of Kingsland, TX,
Sister-in-law, Wanda Holloway of Llano, TX. 4 Grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces and 4 nephews . She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers Albert and Lonnie Holloway and sister Beulah McCloud.
Mrs. Dannheim was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mason.
She and her husband owned and operated the Dannheim Arco Filling Station in Mason. She was also a sales clerk at the dress shop Marguerite's. She had a flare for fashion and was an accomplished seamstress.
Services for Mrs. Dannheim will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Mason Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Colleen Haley officiating. Visitation will be Saturday May 27, 2017 at 11:30 until the I:00 service time. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
