Norma R. Stahl, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on October 31, 2016. She was 79 years old. Norma was born October 15, 1937 in Seadrift, Texas to the late Earl S. Coward and Margaret C. (Hall) coward. Norma was a secretary employed by the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters of the United States and Canada for a period of 27 ½ years. Norma was also a homemaker. Norma was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mason, Texas and a member of the Office and Employees Professional Employees International Union.

Norma's loving husband, Melvin L. Stahl, survives her. They were married on June 28, 2013. Norma is survived by a son, Robert E. Mayfield and wife Ann of Richardson, Texas. Step-daughters: Shauna and husband Jason Griffin of Liberty Hill, Texas, and Becky and husband Mike Walters of Clovis, New Mexico. A sister, Earlene Angell of Victoria, Texas. Three grandchildren, Brittany Hardin of Frisco, Texas, Bryce Mayfield of Richardson, Texas and Brooke Wilson of Red Lodge, England, and two great-grandchildren, Ava of Frisco, Texas and Reid Wilson of Red Lodge, England. Five step-grandchildren, Hayden and Hannah of Liberty Hill, Texas, Maddison, Makenna, and Macee of Clovis, New Mexico. Norma was preceded in death by her father, Earl s. Coward and mother Margaret C. (Hall) Coward.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday morning, November 3 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Mason Funeral Home with the funeral service at 11:30 in the Mason Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in the Gooch Cemetery.
