Obituary

Neal Eugene Little was born on June 3, 1945 in Bryan, Texas to Herbert Little and Jennie Griffin Little.    Neal was a graduate of Texas A & M and was a member of the "Fightin Texas Aggie Class of 71".  He served in the Army for 23 years, retiring as a Master Sargent.  During this time he earned his "silver wings" qualifying as a paratrooper.  Neal worked as an appraiser for the Texas General Land Office and served on the Veterans Land Board.  In his earlier years he was a rodeo bareback bronc rider.  Neal also enjoyed ranching.

Neal was an outstanding father, husband and friend.  He loved the Lord and was an active member at First Baptist Church in Mason.  He had a "servant's heart" and was always offering to help others.  He enjoyed playing 42, hunting, playing softball and making delicious BBQ.  He was a great coach of baseball, soccer, and most importantly life!  He was known to be witty, detail oriented, a sharp dresser and a friend to many.  He called himself "Trouble," but that couldn't have been further from the truth.  He was a good Christian man.

Neal is survived by his children; Lance Little and wife Cara of Llano, Andrea Wiggins and husband Chris of Bryan, grandchildren Chance and Chloe Little, Kymber-Leigh Little, Ashlyn Little and Samantha Wiggins, a great-granddaughter Layla Castro, a brother Don Little and wife Carolyn of Mount Pleasant, two sisters Judy Lankford and husband Phil of Hurst and Neal's twin Nelda Koenig of Bryan.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Little and a grandson Joshua Sanchez.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, December 16, from 10:00 a.m. till 12 noon at the First Baptist Church.  The funeral service will be at 2:00 at the church.  Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Gooch Cemetery.
