Milton "Mutt" Brown, of Mason, passed away on Monday, June 24 at the age of 85 in Austin, TX after a brief, unexpected illness. Mr. Brown is survived by his daughters Trudy Simpson and husband Randy of Spicewood, Tammy Yonker and Ron Williams of Round Rock, the mother of his children "Tuffy" Duzan of Mason, a brother Layton Brown of Mason, 5 grandchildren: Trey Dienhart and wife Paula, Shannon Sparks and husband Daniel, Tanya Maybin and husband Dustin, Jennifer Castro and husband Abel, Brandon Simpson and wife Hillary and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers Alvin Brown, Elroy Brown, Richard Brown and a sister Shirley Stahl. Mr. Brown's final resting place will be in the Grit Cemetery in Grit, TX.  Heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, Lakeway, TX, as well as the doctors, nurses, aides and chaplains at Hospice Austin's Christopher House.
