Michael Ray Taylor lost his battle with a long term illness on July 22.  He was 59.

He resided in Mason for the past 18 years having spent most of his life in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from R. E. Lee High School.

He led a pretty busy life having a wide range of jobs over the years but enjoyed being a "roadie" with big name entertainers, the one he enjoyed the most.  He never met a stranger and his love of cooking led him and his wife Sue to often take food to homeless people under the bridges in San Antonio.

He is survived by his mother Joyce Arnold of Mason, his sister Krystal Wied and her husband Steve, one nephew Dylan Baros and his wife Brittany and two nieces, Daryan Baros and Rachel Wallace.  Preceded in death by his wife Sue, his father Riley R. Taylor, his sister Lisa Ann Baros, and step-father Richard "Dick" Arnold.

We are grateful that he is no longer suffering and has joined his Father in Heaven.
