Michael Allen Cox, of Dallas, passed away in Mason County on Saturday, November 21, at the age of 65. Michael was a life-long resident of Dallas but loved spend time in Mason County enjoying the outdoors and viewing the beautiful sunsets.

Michael was an electrician and worked mainly on electrical and neon signage. His father built the original Pegasus red flying horse sign in Dallas for Mobile Oil and for many years after his father retired Michael kept this sign in working order.

Survivors include his son Wesley Cox of Dallas and cousins Mark Shaw and wife Sandra of Mason and Chris Shaw and wife April of Mason.

It was his wish that his body be cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
