Mauvoreen Troutt, formerly of Mason, passed away in McAllen, Texas on Sunday, November 8, at the age of 87.  Mauvoreen is survived by her son Marlin Richey, of McAllen.  at her request, her body will be cremated and a graveside service for her cremated remains will be held sometime in the spring.

Mauvoreen was born in Mason on July 16, 1933 to Lloyd Wagner and Arlene Cavaness Wagner.  She was raised in Mason.  Mauvoreen was a Case Worker with the Mental Health and Mental Rehabilitation before she retired.  She returned to Mason and lived here for several years before moving to McAllen to be closer to her son.
