Mary Martha Neece went to her final resting place on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. She passed peacefully at the age of 66 with family by her side.

Martha was born February 5, 1956 in Mason, Texas to Timoteo Juan Martinez and Margarita Avalos Martinez. She lived in Mason until the family moved to Dumas, Texas which is where she met her beloved husband, Norman Neece. She married Norman May 27, 1975. They had two sons, Corey and Brandon, who Martha loved dearly. She was a caregiver at heart and this love of others is exemplified through family.

Martha's world revolved around her kids and then her grandkids, once they were born. She made sure everyone knew just how proud she was of them and she always jumped at the opportunity to travel and make memories. She will be remembered for her love for her family, her wonderful cooking and her love for music and dancing.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, and her brothers, Miguel Martinez and Willie Martinez.

Martha is survived by her sons, Corey Neece and Brandon Neece (Brandy); her siblings, Lorenzo Martinez, Danny Martinez (Mary), Olivia Gonzales, Andy Martinez (Theresa), Abel Martinez (Zelma), and Susana Martinez Crocker (Ron); and her grandchildren, Matt Medrano, Summer Neece (Mariah), Avery Neece, Gavin Neece, Corbyn Neece, Caydon Neece and Thiago Verdugo Neece.

Martha requested to be cremated and a private family celebration will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mason County Cancer Benefit, Mason Volunteer Fire Department or a charity of your choice.
