Crow
Feb 22, 1931 — Aug 31, 2024
February 22, 1931 – August 31, 2024
Mary Adeline Crow, 93, of Fredonia, Texas, passed away August 31, 2024. Mary was born on February 22, 1931, in Eden, Texas, to Kathleen and Tom Drinkard, and grew up in Levelland. As a child, she enjoyed visiting her grandfather, C.R. Hoover, at the Hoover family ranch near Fredonia. When she was a teenager, her family moved to Muleshoe where she would meet her future husband, John T. Crow. John and Mary were married on July 26, 1952, and were blessed with seventy-one years of marriage. Together they raised two sons and retired to the Hoover family ranch in 1979.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Kathleen and Tom Drinkard; her husband, John T. Crow; and great-granddaughter, London R. Crow. She is survived by her sisters, Tommie Ann Cox and her husband, Jim; Abby Mozer and her husband, James; sons, John D. Crow and his wife, Darcy; Tom L. Crow and his wife, Michelle. In addition to their two sons, John and Mary have seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mary loved her family. She dedicated her life as a homemaker, gardener, cook, and caretaker. She will long be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Most importantly, Mary's faith was an essential part of her life. She did not fear death and was perfectly at peace knowing that she belonged body and soul to her faithful Savior Jesus Christ.
A private ceremony will be held at the family ranch. The family suggests any donations be made in memory of Mary Crow to a charity of your choice.
