Martha Currey Draper passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Fredericksburg, TX at the age of 90 years.

Martha was born in Limestone County on December 30, 1933, to Bill and Ruth Pippin Currey. She attended school in Limestone County and went on to graduate from Abilene Christian College in 1954 with a degree in education.  She met her husband, Darryl Driscol Draper, while attending college and they were happily married for 69 years.

She worked many years in the retail fabric business alongside her mother on the square in Mason.

Her parents and her husband Darryl Driscol Draper preceded her in death. She is survived by her two sons, Benjamin Alvin Draper and wife, Georgia of Arlington, TX and Joel Lee Draper, of Mason along with six grandchildren: James Draper, Julie Draper Sandoval, Joe Don Draper, Darci Draper Hamilton, Dakota Draper and Jaci Draper Schnupp and eleven great grandchildren. Also, by her brother, Jack Currey of Abilene, and her Sister-in-law, Mary Kay Draper of Mason.  Nephews are Billy Keith Currey of Abilene and Barry Joe Currey of Lubbock, TX and one niece, Kaylyn Geistweidt of Fredericksburg.

A visitation with the family will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Mason Church of Christ with interment to follow at the Gooch Cemetery.
