Marlene "Tuffy" Lanette (Doyal) Duzan of Bluffton, Texas, born in Fredericksburg, Texas and raised in Mason, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the age of 82 after a lengthy battle with respiratory illness.

Tuffy is survived by daughter Trudy Simpson and husband Randy of Spicewood, Texas, and daughter Tammy Yonker and partner Ron Williams of Round Rock, Texas, grandchildren Trey Dienhart and wife Paula of Kyle, Texas, Shannon Sparks and husband Daniel of Leander, Texas, Tanya Dienhart-Maybin and husband Dustin of Bastrop, Texas, Jennifer Castro and husband Abel of Maxwell, Texas, and Brandon Simpson and wife Hilary of Marble Falls, Texas, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren with one more due any day.  She is also survived by her brother Teddy Ray Doyal and wife Linda of Mason, her aunt Betty Stockbridge and husband Paul also of Mason, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Ted and Lois Doyal, as well as her twin sister Darlene "Pos" Brandenberger.

Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, February 03, 2024, at Mason Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
