Marguerite Louise Klingelhoefer Keller was born on July 24, 1920, In Cherry Springs, Texas, the daughter of Alfred and Matilda (Tillie) Marshall Klingelhoefer. She passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the age of 91 years.

She was baptized on March 9, 1921 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg. She was confirmed on March 24, 1934 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg.

She attended Fredericksburg schools and graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1938.

On June 28, 1939, she was married to Chester Keller at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mason, Texas.

Marguerite and Chester operated Keller Electric in Mason for many years before she opened Marguerite's Of Mason clothing store, which she owned for 20 years. She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, especially with the Women of the Church. She provided many flowers from her garden for beautifying the church on Sunday morning. She participated in the annual cleanup of the church facilities. The church and the Parish Hall had to be cleaned from top to bottom, including the windows. Marguerite was a member and past-president of the Mason Garden Club.

Survivors include one son, Dr. Michael Keller and wife, Diann of Sonora, three daughters, Marcia Kamprath and husband Gerald of Plano, Helen Carroll of Plano, Sherie Clarkson and husband Ronnie of Mason; and four grandchildren, Dr. Todd Keller and wife, Amy; Dr. Shane Keller and wife, Whitney; Michael Rutherford and Christina Moore; also six great-grandchildren, Mason, Corbin, Axel, Sloan, and Kyle Keller, Bryson Moore and special friend, Hortencia Cordoza, nephews Rex Klingelhoefer, Robin Klingelhoefer and wife, Anna; Pat Keller and wife Patsy, Jerry Kothmann and wife Kate, and nieces, Ricki Adams and Paulette Keller and several great-nieces and nephews. Marguerite Keller was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chester, and one brother, Marshall Klingelhoefer.

Funeral services for Mrs. Keller will be held Monday, February 20 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mason. Burial will follow at the Gooch Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Dr. Todd Keller, Dr. Shane Keller, Michael Rutherford, Corey Klingelhoefer, Robin Klingelhoefer, and Jerry Kothmann. Visitation with the family will be held Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.
