Margarita Buitron Garcia, of Mason, passed away on Saturday, May 25, at the age of 66. Margarita was born in San Carlos, Coahuilla, Mexico on June 30, 1952 to Elvino Buitron Favila and Margarita Medina Riojas. She was raised in Mexico and Married Jose Garcia Martinez on June 28, 1969. Their marriage was blessed with 3 daughters.

In 1998 Margarita and Jose moved to Mason in order to be closer to her family. In Mason, Margarita worked at the nursing home, Zavala's, Willow Creek Restaurant and also for Home Health. Margarita was a member of St. Joseph Parish. She was a hard worker, often working 2 or 3 jobs at a time! Working as much as she did, there was not much free time but she enjoyed dancing and always loved having her family around. She was also very close to her two dogs Buster and "Chikia".

Margarita is survived by her husband Jose, their daughters Anna Luisa Garcia Buitron Ordonez of Mason, Elisabeth Garcia Juarez and husband Javier of Mexico and Amalia Ojeda Garcia and husband Juan Ojeda of Granite Shoals. She is also survived by 3 brothers Alfredo Buitron and wife Anna, Juan Buitron and Jesus Buitron, 12 grandchildren: Norma Mora and husband Lucio, Aleyda Reyes and husband Jose, Nidia Juarez and husband Juan Salazar, Erendy De La Rosa and husband Ignacio, Andrea Balderas, Brenda Juarez, Alondra Balderas, Bricio Balderas, Javier Juarez, Alina Ordonez, Jose Juarez and Cesar Omar Juarez. She was preceded in death by her parents and the following Brothers and sisters: Jose Maria Buitron, Maria Buitron, Jaime Buitron and Maria Dolares Buitron.

The Rosary will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 28, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Gooch Cemetery. Serving as pall bearers are Bricio "Junior" Balderas, Jose Juarez, Cesar Omar Juarez, Lucio Mora, Jose Reyes, Abel Buitron, Santos Buitron and Omero Pineda.
