Margaret Ann Swanson, of Mason, went to her heavenly home on Friday, May 20, at the age of 78.

Margaret was born in Kansas City, Kansas on September 28, 1943, to Alfred Kauten and Lucille McCleary Kauten. Margaret loved the Lord, family and friends. She never met a stranger and always loved when people came to visit. She had many friends and she let you know how much these ladies meant to her. Elizabeth Rosberg, friend and prayer partner, Cissi Reed and dog Coco, Juhree Lehmberg, neighbor and friend who was there for her 24/7, Kathy Pallette, Margaret and Kathy spent time daily visiting and watching TV, and Kathy helped Margaret anytime she hollered or beat on the wall. Each one of these ladies held a special place in her heart and ours.

Margaret is survived by her sister, Judy Beam of Mason, her nephew Mike Beam and wife Denise of Fredericksburg, nieces LuAnn Reed and husband Johnnie of Mason, Tereasa Thompson and husband Kenneth of Mason and Sarah Moellendorf and husband Ian of Fredericksburg as well as many other family members, friends and great great-nieces and nephews and cousins.

The family would like to thank Pastor Dave Benefield, Doctors and nurses at Frontera Clinic in Mason and Home Health of Mason and Hospice of San Angelo. The family is thankful and grateful to you all.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gooch Cemetery with interment following the service
