Lorenzo Hernandez of Mason passed away Sunday August 26, 2012 at home surrounded by family at the age of 29.

Lorenzo was born on October 22, 1982 in Galveston TX. He grew up as part of a large extended family. Lorenzo enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as floating and kayaking on the river. He loved to be with his nieces and nephews, and with his large family.

Lorenzo Hernandez is survived by his parents Alfredo Mendoza and Beatrice Palacio Torres; grandparents Alfred and Jessie Palacio all of mason, and Joe Torres of Medford OK; brothers Jeremy Hernandez and his wife Cynthia, Freddy Torres Jr. and his wife Tasha; sister Loretta Hernandez and her husband Ezekiel Chavarria all of Mason as well as five niece and five nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Estelle Mendoza Torres.

Funeral services for Lorenzo Hernandez will be on Tuesday August 28 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Reverend Arthur Nelms officiating. Interment will follow at Crosby Cemetery.

Visitation with the Family will be from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm on Monday August 27, 2012 in the Mason Funeral Home.
