Linda Fay Watson Tear, of Mason, passed away on Friday, July 27, at the age of 69. Linda was born in Mason on January 15, 1949. She attended school in Mason and married Gene Watson. Later she married Bob Tear. She was involved in ranching most of her life.

Linda is survived by her children Don Watson of Mason, Linda Lee Tatsch and husband Bobby of Mason, Shelli Ruiz and husband Eric of Mason and Aaron Watson and wife Clara of Llano. She is also survived by the following grandchildren: Will and Nikki Watson, Devyn and Craig Bauman, Kaycee and Jeff Ingleby, Dustin and Tori Tatsch, Jared Tatsch, Krysten and Emilio Palacio, Elena Ruiz, Jase "Moose" Ruiz, Bailen Watson "B-Man", Raney Watson "Rainbow", Hartlyn Watson "Tiki Bird" and the following great-grandchildren: Russel, Grace, Boone, Mikaela, Lexi, Slaton "Fatman", Renley, Caden, Curren and Celten. Linda was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Watson, a grandson Ryan Watson, her mother Velma Scantlin, three sisters, two brothers and her second husband Bob Tear.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 30, at 10:00 a.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Pontotoc Cemetery.
