Lee Roy Westbrook Jr., age 74, formerly of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully in his home in Mason County on Sunday, September 23, 2018. Lee Roy Jr. was born on March 10, 1944 in Tonopah, Nevada. Lee Roy spent much of his life in Dallas where his family owned and operated JGB Enterprises, Inc., also known as Westbrook Construction. The company was established in 1941 and was a blessing to the community. Many years of hard work and diligence allowed the company countless years of success, in which, Lee Roy Jr., was a large contributor.

Lee Roy enjoyed life and travel more than most and never met a stranger. If you knew him, you loved him. He was a very generous soul and his expressions are not soon forgotten.

He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and his survived by his wife Michele Westbrook, his daughter Rosa Westbrook Carlile and husband Jeff of flower Mound, his son Kevin Westbrook and wife Lauren of Mason and daughter Brandi Westbrook of Benbrook. Lee Roy had five grandchildren, Makenzie Morris, Rylee Morris, Wyatt Westbrook, Wesley Westbrook and Brooklynn Wilson. He is also survived by his sister Rosalee Westbrook Bowers and husband Paul of Little Elm, Texas. Lee Roy Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Westbrook Sr. and his mother Rosa Mae.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, October 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.
