Lawrence Lock, of Mason, passed away at his home on Friday, April 1, at the age of 83. Mr. Lock is survived by his daughter Lawrie Airheart and husband Pete, of Mason, 3 grandchildren Vicki DelToro and husband Pete of Mason, April Airheart McCully and husband Matt of San Angelo and Ashley Airheart and fiancé Ray Duarte of Mason and 4 great-grandchildren Damian, Darron and Madalynn Deltoro and Jayden McCully. Lawrence is also survived by his beloved Boston Terrier "Sissy". He was preceded in death by a baby brother and by Betty Lock.

Lawrence was born in Tom Green County on October 5, 1927 to Luther Lock and Mamie Roberts Lock. He was raised in Wall and graduated from high school in San Angelo. In the early 50's Lawrence moved to Mason where he was involved in ranching and fence building. He was a man of deep faith who loved to read and study the Bible and believed in the power of prayer. He was a member of the Bible study group at River of Life Church and the Emmaus study group. Lawrence loved to hunt and fish; enjoyed shelling pecans and keeping up with current events. In earlier years he enjoyed riding horses.

Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence Lock will be held on Tuesday, April 5, at 2:00 p.m. at the River of Life Church in Mason. Interment will follow in the Art East Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.
