Laura Patricia Castillo of Mason passed away in Heart of Texas Memorial hospital in Brady at the age of 22.

Laura Patricia Castillo was born on June 13, 1988 to Rafael and Imelda Castillo in Santa Clara CA. Laura Graduated from Mason High in 2006 then attended Howard College in San Angelo. She moved back to Mason and started attending C.T.C. Vocational Nursing School and was planning to graduate in August. Laura was an outgoing happy and loving person. Helping people was her calling which lead to her pursuing a career in nursing. She was close to all her family especially her younger brother. She was a counselor to friends and a blessing to her parents her Momma's pride and her Daddy's joy.

Laura is survived by her parents Rafael and Imelda Castillo of Mason, brother, Rodrigo Castillo of Mason, Grandparents, Ismael and Sara Duarte of Mason, Crescencia Castillo of Mason, Pedro Castillo of Midland, aunts and uncles, Nancy and Rafael Hernandez, Sylvia and Billy Munoz, Ismael and Gigi Duarte, Israel and Victoria Duarte, David Duarte, Edward and Romelia Castillo, Bertha Castillo all of Mason, Pedro Castillo Jr. of Euless, Eddy Castillo of San Angelo. Cousins, Rafael Hernandez Jr., Ad Hernandez, Efren Hernandez, Vedel Munoz, Ray Duarte Jr., Bryan Duarte, Jeremy Duarte, Andy Duarte, Enrique Duarte Sabrina Munoz, Casandra Castillo, Cathleen Castillo, Brynda Duarte, Sandy Duarte,Miranda Castillo, Clarissa Castillo, Vanessa Castillo, A.J. Soto, Chris Soto, and Michael Soto.

Funeral Service will be on Monday April 25, 2011 at 10:00am in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mason, interment will follow at Crosby Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 5pm-7pm with a Rosary to start at 7:00p.m.
Pallbearers will be Ismael Duarte Jr. Israel Duarte, David Duarte, Edward Castillo, Pedro Castillo, Eddy Castillo. Her cousins will act as honorary pallbearers.
