Larry Cavaness of Mason, passed away at home on Saturday, November 7,  2020 at the age of 74. Larry was born on July 31, 1946 in Mason to Perry Baze cavaness and Grace Skurlock. He married Pamela easterwood. They were married for over 50 years and their marriage was blessed with 3 children. Larry worked for the Texas Highway Department for many years and retired as a construction supervisor. He also served his country in the Texas National Guard.  Larry was an avid golfer and enjoyed being on the course with his friends.

Larry is survived by two sons Patrick Douglas Cavaness of Rockwall, Christopher Cole Cavaness and wife Traci Cavaness of Mason, one daughter Sheila Kay Cavaness of Ft. Worth, grandchildren Carly Elizabeth Cavaness, William Tucker Cavaness and Kaylea Cavaness and a sister Velma Louise Gierisch and husband Ernest, Jr. of Mason.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. A graveside service for Larry will be held on Friday, November 13, at 2:00 p.m. at the Gooch Cemetery.
