Kenneth Neil Davis passed away on Sunday morning, August 9th, 2020, at the age of 87. Kenneth died peacefully at home.

Kenneth was born in his family's home in Field Creek on February 11, 1933, to Alvin Ezra Davis and Henrietta Davis. Kenneth played guitar in his younger days and was part of a small Pontotoc band. He attended school in Pontotoc and high school in Llano, Texas.

At the age of 18 he enlisted in the United States Army and was part of the mechanics corp. He was stationed in Korea for two years. At the end of the war, Kenneth returned home to Mason and shortly after married the love of his life Bonnie Marie Dockal. Together they had two children Terry Davis Lehmberg and Marty Neil Davis both of Mason.

He spent several years working at the local Chevy dealership before opening and operating his own shop with his good friend Juan McGowan. He retired and sold his half of the shop in the late 90's; and, he raised goats and cattle for many years as well.  Kenneth was also a fabulous Popo to his grand-children and great-grandchildren whom he loved so very much.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; and, by his brothers Darrel Ashley Davis; and, an infant brother. His wife, Bonnie, passed away just days before his own death.

He is survived by his Children Terry Kay Lehmberg and husband Brad Lehmberg; and, Marty Neil of Mason. Grandchildren: Wesley Carl Lehmberg and Brie Lynn Lehmberg ; great-grandchildren Drake Lee Anthony Lehmberg, Briley Ann Lehmberg and Miles Ray Foster all of Mason; and,  many nieces, nephews and loving cousins, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Pontotoc Fire Department.

Due to Covid there will be no visitation and a small memorial will be announced at a later date.
