Judy Ann Jackson Holstein of Mason, formerly of San Antonio, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 14, at the age of 77.  Born February 26, 1945, to parents Vernon and Hazel Jackson, Judy spent her early years in Sabinal, Texas, and then in various locales throughout Central and South Texas as her parents followed the available work of the time.  Judy married Roy Holstein, Jr. of Floresville, Texas on August 12, 1967.  She had two children, Rhona and Amanda.  Judy was an avid reader and artist, and enjoyed oil painting, wood carving and weaving.  During her working career, she was in the real estate industry for many decades, holding both her real estate license and her commercial property management certification.  Judy was a born-again Christian and was very involved in many different churches, ministries, outreach programs and service organizations throughout her life.

She was always full of light and brought so much joy to her friends and family.  Once she became a grandmother, she was affectionately known as "Mama Juju". Spending time with those she cared about the most was at the top of her priority list.  Judy's presence, smile, laughter and kind heart will be missed by all those she knew and loved.

Judy is survived by her daughter Rhona and Chad Lemke of Mason, daughter Amanda and Charlie Aaron of Georgetown, sister Janelle and husband Gerry Shudde of Sabinal, brother Jerry Jackson of San Antonio, grandchildren Virginia, Margaret, Catherine, Caroline, Kaylie, Carter and Kennedy and great grandchildren Adaleigh and Cainan.  A private family celebration of life service for Judy will be held at a later date.
