Frances Joy Hahn, of Mason, passed away on Thursday, December 27, at the age of 71. She was born September 22, 1941 in Delta, Colorado to Owen Hocker and Franky Hocker Sparks. She was preceded in death by her brother Gene Hocker and her sister Betty Ann Hart.

She is survived by her husband Dick Hahn, her sons Gary Hahn and wife Jeanne, of Mason, Steven Hahn and Christine Hahn of Glasboro, New Jersey, grandchildren; Jessica Simon and husband Cody of Mason, Michael Hahn and wife Carrie of Brady, Amanda Hahn of San Angelo and Jennifer Flynn and husband Leland, of Plano, a great-granddaughter Jolie Simon and a niece Stephanie Lowrie and husband Frank, of Pebble Beach, California.

Joy and Dick were married in Cortez, Colorado in 1960 and moved to Mason in 1962. She spent much of her life working at Community and Hahn Services. She loved taking care of her family, reading to her grandchildren and working the crossword puzzles. However, when it came to games, she was a fierce competitor and played fairly, but played to win!

Funeral services for Joy Hahn will be held graveside at the Long Mountain Cemetery on Sunday, December 30, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Fieldcamp officiating.
