Jose Socorro Landeros, of Mason, passed from this life Monday, July 6, 2015, at the age of 75. He was born in Delores Mexico November 15, 1939 to the late Jose Carmen Landeros and Maria Soledad (Ruiz) Landeros. He became a United States Citizen December 7, 1965 in Brooklyn, New York, while stationed there. He served in the United States Marines from 1960 until being honorably discharged in 1965.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, former wife, Betty Ann, and second wife Dora, siblings Santos Landeros,Jacinto Landeros, Estaban Landeros, Martina Kimble, and Viscenta Landeros.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his children; Antonio Leon Landeros, and wife, Wendi, Maria Elena Alcoser, and husband, Alfredo, Katherine Lynn Lloyd and husband, Travis, step children; Martha Hinojosa and husband, Amador, Dennis Velez, Sr. and wife, Juliette grandchildren; Benito Alfredo Alcoser, Misty Lynn Alcoser, Mercedes Michelle Landeros, Victoria Ann Alcoser, Jacob Aaron Alcoser, Drake Aiden Lloyd,Jim Rodriguez, Shane Rodriguez, Dennis Velez, Jr,., Megan Chavez, and Zach Velez,
Great grandchildren; Jaaron Victor Rangel, Jaezyah Vinsent Rangel, Kynzzily Rosalynn Hinojosa, Kori Rodriguez, Avery Rodriguez, Kendall Rodriguez and Dailey Rodriguez and siblings; Elena Maria Castilleja and Fortino Landeros.

Funeral Mass for Jose Landeros, 75, of Mason will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 9, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mason. Interment with military honors will follow in the Bethel Cemetery at Camp Air. The Rosary will be Wednesday, evening at 7:00 pm at the Mason Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jose's honor to Hill County Memorial Hospice, 520 Granite Ave. Fredrickburg, Tx 78624-4553, Country Home Health or a charity of your choice.
