Johanna "Johnni" Rossing, of Mason, passed away on Saturday, July 10, one day short of her 88 ^th birthday.  Johnni was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 11, 1934 to Walter William Alschlager and Bernie Jewel Nolan Alschlager.

Johnni was first married to William F. Elton and after he passed away she married Irving "Irv" Rossing.  They lived in Wimberley before moving to Mason.  Irv passed away in 2001 and Johnni continued to make her home in Mason.  Johnni was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church in Mason.

Johnni is survived by her son William "Bill" Elton of Mason, daughter-in-law Nancy Elton of Austin, step-children Duane Rossing, Susan Hunter Rossing, Linda Zavala and Vicki Rossing and three grandchildren Eric Elton, Sarah Lynn Frasier and Solomon Zavala.  Johnni was preceded in death by her husbands William F. Elton and Irv Rossing and a son Bruce Gregory Elton.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at First United Methodist Church in Mason on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m..  Private interment of her cremated remains will be held at the Wimberley Cemetery, Wimberly, Tx.
