Joe Robert Larimore, of Garland, passed away at the family ranch in Mason County, on Friday, July 5, at the age of 57. Joe was born in Mason on August 24, 1961 to Willard Kenneth Larimore, Jr. and Ruth Slusser Larimore.

Joe is survived by his mother Ruth Larimore of Gladewater, two brothers Mark Larimore and wife Pam of LaVernia and John Larimore and wife Vicky of Richardson, a sister Jill Merritt of Richardson, nieces Drew and Lindsay Merritt, Jamie Larimore and a son Jeffrey Campbell. He was preceded in death by his father.

Joe was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mason and attended grade school in Mason before the family moved to the Dallas area. He was a graduate of Plano Senior High School. He owned and operated Ken's Coffee Service, a coffee distribution business that his father had started. In his spare he was an avid, and very good, golfer. He also enjoyed hunting for topaz and arrowheads on the family ranch north of Mason.

It was Joe's wish that he be cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
