Jimmie Sue Bode, of Meadowlakes, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, at the age of 80.  Sue was born in Commerce, Texas on September 9, 1941 to James Clyde Walker and Martha Morrison Walker.

She earned her Master of Education degree from North Texas University.  Sue loved being a teacher and taught dessa, Fort Stockton, Lewisville and Denton.

Sue and her husband Charles were married for 58 years and were blessed with two sons, Clay and Zane.  They lived most of their married life in Denton (36 years) before moving to Lago Vista and then to Meadowlakes.  She was a strong but loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, but was especially fond of her grandchildren.

Sue is survived by her husband Charles Bode of Meadowlakes, their sons Clay Bode and wife Diane of Pontotoc, Zane Bode and wife Cynthia of Georgetown and grandchildren Collin Bode, Ryan Bode, Taylor Bode and Hannah Bode.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, at 1:00 p.m. at the Pontotoc Cemetery at Pontotoc, Texas.
