Jane Holt Rowland, 87, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her home in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Jane was born April 15, 1939, in Haskell, Texas, the daughter of J. C. Holt and Clara Brite Holt. She graduated from Haskell High School in 1957. She worked in Stamford as a bookkeeper for the cotton gin and grain elevator. She married Robert "Brad" Rowland on April 15, 1990.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert "Brad" Rowland on January 2, 2023, son James Lee Andress, Jr. on January 5, 2020, brothers J. C. Holt, Jerry Holt, W. C. Holt, and sisters Tommie Alvis, Jewel Pittman, Gene Jeter, and Jeanette Ramos.

Jane is survived by her son, Jeff Andress and Allen Rodriguez of Fredericksburg, Texas; son Keith and Denita Rowland of Prosper, Texas, daughter Lynn and Tom Boyd, of Abilene, Texas, son Richard and P. J. Rowland of Allen, Texas, daughter Mary and Brady Chapman of Abilene, Texas, grandchildren Heather and Ron Klos of Taylor, Michigan, Shayla and Ryan Eberst of Wylie, Texas, Angie Webster of Houston, Texas, Alexander and Cezanne Rowland of Prosper, Texas, Courtney Bryant and Jon Abel of Abilene, Texas, Keith Boyd of Abilene, Texas, Brad and Jackie Rowland of Dallas, Texas, Cassie and Beaux Dyson of Wylie, Texas, Lindsey and Nate Lukas of Broadlands, Virginia, Patrice Chapman and Jeff Schulkers of The Dalles, Oregon, and Landon and Emalee Chapman of Norfolk, Virginia; 24 great grandchildren, sister Amelia Perry of Paint Creek, Texas, and numerous dear nieces and nephews.
