Jane Addison (Hart) Dyke passed away peacefully on August 27, 2023, at the age of 74. Despite struggling with frontotemporal dementia in recent years she demonstrated grace and courage.

Jane was born November 8, 1948, the third child of Ina and James Hart. She lived in Austin, TX for the majority of her life and enjoyed her work at the University of Texas School of Nursing before retiring to Mason, TX. She found Mason to be a charming place and was surrounded by a wonderful community of friends and neighbors.

Jane's faith was essential to her, and she lived a life full of love, patience, kindness, and gentleness. She was a caring and thoughtful person who was always there for others. Jane was also a gifted letter writer and had an innate talent for interior decoration. Throughout her life, she saw beauty all around her and found joy in the smallest of things. Jane will be remembered as a lovely and compassionate soul who touched the lives of everyone she met.

Jane leaves behind her husband, Larry Dyke; son, Robert Welborn of Florida; nieces, Lea (Tom) Callahan of Boston and Sarah (Matt) Ippolito of Los Angeles; nephew, Clay (Erin) Hart of Midland; as well as one great niece and three great nephews. She is also survived by many dear friends spread across Texas.

She is predeceased by her parents and siblings, Ann Garcia and Jay Hart.

Graveside service and interment were held on Tuesday, September 5, at 11:00 a.m. at the Winchester City Cemetery in Winchester.  There will not be any viewing or visitation before the service.

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at the River of Life Church in Mason on Sunday, September 17th, at 2:00 pm.
