J.W. Haines, of Mason, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, at the age of 87. Mr. Haines is survived by his son Larry Haines and friend Laura Parson of Mason a daughter Laura Lea Williamson of Long Beach, California, a brother Addis Haines and wife Ruth of Bertram, sister-in-law Phyliss Haines of Balinger, the mother of his children Leah Blazak, three grandchildren: Jim Haines and wife Angela, Mariah Haines Jensen and husband "Rich" and Douglas Williamson, five great-grandchildren: T.J. Haines and wife Kara, Dallas Haines, Savannah Jensen, Dylan Jensen, Brooklyn Jensen and a great-great-grandson on the way. J.W. was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Haines

Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 20, at 10:00 a.m. in the Mason Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery at Camp Air.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of San Angelo.
