Mr. Goff is survived by his wife, Ann Goff, of Mason, a daughter Donna Johnson and husband Billy Karl of Mason and a son Mike Goff and Jimie Langehennig of Mason, a sister Jean Alexander of Llano, three grandchildren Jenna Johnson, Vicky Bankston and Chris Goff and two great-grandchildren, Blain and Bryce Bankston. Jack was born on February 5, 1931 in Mason. He farmed and ranched in the earlier part of his life and then work at the sand plant at Voca. After "retiring" Jack started a lawn maintenance business that grew into a full-time job.
On November 9, 1973 Jack married Ann Crabb in Gainesville. They made their home in Mason. Jack loved to play the fiddle and he was very good at it, winning several trophies for his playing! He had an ear and a memory for music and old advertising jingles and could remember the tune and quote the lines from them. He enjoyed raising fruit trees and liked to share the fruit with friends and neighbors, often receiving jelly and pies in return. He also loved to hunt and fish. Jack always had a smile and was loved by all who knew him.\
